Exam Objectives:
The CISA exam is designed to test a candidate's knowledge and proficiency in five domains related to information systems auditing:
- Domain 1: Information System Auditing Process
- Domain 2: Governance and Management of IT
- Domain 3: Information Systems Acquisition, Development, and Implementation
- Domain 4: Information Systems Operations, Maintenance, and Service Management
- Domain 5: Protection of Information Assets
Exam Details:
The CISA exam is a computer-based test consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates have four hours to complete the exam. The exam is available in English, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, French, German, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish languages.
The cost of the exam varies depending on whether or not the candidate is an ISACA member. The cost for members is $575, while non-members must pay $760. The passing mark is 450 out of 800 points.
The exam is delivered through a computer-based testing platform. Candidates can take the exam at any of the PSI testing centers around the world. The exam is offered during three testing windows each year: January-February, April-May, and July-August.
The format of the exam consists of multiple-choice questions, with four possible answers for each question. Candidates must select the best answer out of the four choices. The exam is designed to test a candidate's knowledge, comprehension, application, and analysis skills in the five domains of the CISA certification.
